I loved this episode. It really hits home that patois can’t be used in stories. One of my characters speaks this broken English, a Spanglish if you will. I was attempting to convey how a region spoke. Now my plan is to offer it as a separate book, as that character’s name with patois after it… [Title] – John’s Patois included. And just offer it for sale as an option or give it to people that purchase the book and request it. Side note: My book is set in the role playing world I’m creating, maybe someone will want it? If not, at least it will be readable now. 🙂
